Rabbi Naama Dafni Kellen

Or Hadash Reform Congregation
Haifa

Q: What do you do to relax?  How do you like to spend your down time?
A: Crochet calms me. Watching the yarn morph into a weaved artifact is relaxing.

Q: What are your dreams for your community?
A: To be a lighthouse to those who are searching and thinking about how to take responsibility for their own Jewish identities and bring more light into the world.

Q: What are your community’s greatest challenges?
A: I essentially grew up as an Israeli and less as a Jew. My challenge is to feel more at home in Judaism. And to be a woman Rabbi for the Jewish people.
